This week, we celebrated mental health we by completing different activities to develop a positive mindset on each day. On Monday, we dressed to express ourselves! On Tuesday, we created playlists. On Wednesday, we create art work using words to portray our unique identifies. On Thursday, we created artwork to represent different emotions.

During WWII, people had to ‘black out’ their homes at night so that enemy bombers could not see where to bomb. Whole cities descended into darkness. Where would we be without light? This afternoon, we completed a Science experiment to explore how light travels.

We visited Paignton Zoo on Friday to explore the habitats of different species. We read about what happened to the animals in London Zoo during the war and how they were evacuated to the countryside.
We thought about what life would be life for creatures during the war whilst being transported to a new home; we've written from the perspective of these animals.

We completed an activity to design a new enclosure to such unique animals using a given budget. What fantastic ideas we had.

For our homework this week, we wrote balanced arguments about whether Neville Chamberlain made an ethical decision to declare war on Germany. We thought very maturely to phrase our own arguments.
