Grandad's Island
One of our books this term is Grandad's Island by Benji Davies.
Bryony class have been looking at sentence structures, regular plural noun suffixes, exclamation marks and using our imaginations! To extend children's understanding and knowledge, the children have participated in collaborative discussions, performances and role-play/drama.
The children had a special visit from Grandad and asked him very interesting questions!

Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Hapus!
The first day of March marks the celebration of the patron saint of Wales – so here’s a snapshot of Bryony’s learning and celebration on St David’s day.
A special thank you to Ffredi (Dogwood) and Mrs Ford for sharing your expert knowledge. We loved trying on the traditional dress, listening to stories, learning Welsh and hearing all about the parade!
Shrove Tuesday
Today in Bryony we talked about Shrove Tuesday being the beginning of the Christian festival of Lent. We discussed what type of things we could give up for lent and to celebrate we took part in pancake races!
Happy Pancake Day!
