In French this term, we have been focussing on the theme of food. We have learned how to say,
"I would like ....., please." (Ask your children if they can remember how to say this in French!) This afternoon, we were able to practise our spoken French by asking for different items in the cafe. On offer we had the following: croissant, baguette with butter and jam, Madeleines, homemade brioche (thank you Anne-Claude) with hot chocolate or orange juice to drink. The children had to ask for their food and drink in French and they had to remember their manners too, saying please and thank you - in French. They all did brilliantly! The highlight was.... the snails! Well done to those children brave enough to try these, we were really impressed!
This term's QUEST is...
What impact did the Roman Empire have on Britain?
