We are committed to planning sequences of lessons to ensure a logical progression throughout the key stages.
During EYFS, pupils develop a love of using concrete resources.
Accordingly, across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, we integrate a systematic handling of ‘concrete’, ‘pictorial’ and ‘abstract’ resources to encourage mathematical fluency in our pupils. Our 'addition', 'subtraction', 'multiplication', and 'division' documents are reflective of this approach.
