Welcome

Welcome to St Vigor and St John Church School. Our school serves the village communities of Chilcompton, Stratton-on-the-Fosse and the surrounding area. We are an academy and a member of the Bath and Wells Multi Academy Trust. This Trust is includes 30 nearby primary schools in Somerset, BANES and North Somerset.

All the Staff and Governors work hard to provide our children with a warm, secure and stimulating environment for learning within an ethos which strongly promotes Christian values.  

We aim to co-operate with parents in encouraging each child to attain their full potential, academically physically and spiritually.

We are a learning community. We all need each other to learn effectively and we encourage collaborative styles of learning as appropriate. Most of all we care deeply for the children's well being in all senses of the word. We wish them to be happy, healthy individuals, well equipped to cope with the rigours and demands of modern society.
