TEAM DOGWOOD
Introduce Larry, our Giant African Land Snail! A big thank you to PTFA, Jenna, and Santa for gifting us this delightful class pet. Larry is adjusting wonderfully to his new home.
Religious Education
We have been examining the Bible, focusing on its messages about God, His nature, and His relationship with people. We discussed how Christians utilise the Bible and the various ways it supports them in their everyday lives.
We also talked about and learned about parables and how these stories encourage individuals to reflect on their beliefs and what is most significant to them.
Additionally, we explored how Christians' belief in the incarnation is represented in the Bible, extending beyond just the Christmas narrative.
PSHE and Zones of Regulation
We have been using dictionaries to check and enhance our spelling skills. The children particularly enjoyed our Dictionary Challenge, and some furthered their learning by finding synonyms of words we encountered in our class texts this term.
