St Vigor & St John Primary school and The Mill Nursery is a learning community of children and staff that are adventurous, ethical, connected and unique. We support each other to learn effectively and we encourage collaborative styles of learning as appropriate. Most of all, we care deeply for the children's well-being in all senses of the word. We wish them to be happy, healthy individuals, well equipped to cope with the rigours and demands of modern society.
The Early Years Lead for the school (Mrs Cox) and the nursery works in the nursery every Thursday. Our SENDcO works in both school and nursery and we have Harriet, our deputy, who also specialises in additional needs. This helps the school and nursery to know the personalities, needs and additional provision of all the children, which supports the transition into school.
Below, are several links to resources and information that will support parents who have children with Special Educational Needs. If there is a resource or some information that you would like us to add to the website, for all parents, then please let us know!
