Our school grounds are best designed to support learning outside the classroom, with distinct zones tailored to various educational and personal development activities.
The Mulberry Garden
EYFS children have their own dedicated outdoor learning space, the Mulberry Garden, which is used daily for teaching activities. The area is desgined to meet the specific needs of early learners and supports the EYFS curriculum.
Lily's Wood
Lily’s Wood is a dedicated woodland area used for forest school sessions led by two trained Forest School Leaders. Each class is timetabled to participate in a term of forest school lessons annually, promoting teamwork, resilience, and environmental awareness. EYFS children also recieve their own forest school sessions with their own dedicated forest school lead.
MUGA
Our MUGA (Multi-Use Games Area) and playing fields serve as flexible spaces for physical activities and games. These areas are used for PE lessons, sports clubs, and extracurricular activities such as football, tag rugby, fencing, and cross-country.
The Secret Garden
The secret garden is used both as a recreational space and for pupils and within lessons by KS1. With in the secret garden live our chickens and ducks which offers opportunities for practical, hands-on learning about animal care. Classes take weekly turns to feed, clean, and collect eggs, providing a unique, real-world learning experience.
