Welcome back to Term 6, the final term of a wonderful year in Arum. We really are so proud of everything our amazing class have achieved this year. This term our Quest is, 'Where would be the best place for me and my family to go on holiday?' We are going to be exploring holiday destinations around the world, learning from our own experiences and sharing our holiday adventures. We will also be learning about different modes of transport and using our geography skills to identify places on a map.
Our core value this term is Peace. We will be discussing how we can find peace in nature, with our friends and family and also in prayer. The idea of finding peace, is ideal to explore together now as we begin our transition into Bryony Class. Over the next few weeks, we will be spending lots of time talking about our feelings and emotions and also continuing to get to know our wonderful new teacher Ms Angel! If you have any questions or worries this term regarding your child and their transition into Year One, please do come and see us and we will be happy to support you all. Although it may feel a little unsettling at the moment with lots of changes, we spend plenty of time getting to know our new teacher, teaching assistants and the classroom and for many children this is a very exciting time indeed.
We a pleased to tell you our Starbooks Reading Cafe will once again be open on Wednesday the 17th of June from 3.20pm. So please join us for a wonderful afternoon of books, spending time together and of course, enjoying a biscuit or two!
We are really looking forward to a brilliant and celebratory end of the year with our amazing Arum Class! Thank you to you all for your fantastic support this year, it has been a joy to teach your children and we are proud to have played a part in their learning journey at St Vigors.
Best wishes,
Laura, Suzanne, Sarah & Freya
