At SVSJ, we aim to develop children's  skills, knowledge, and personal development, which support them in their daily lives and shape their future thinking and decisions. By providing opportunities to develop life skills, improve physical and mental well-being, realize community opportunities, and appreciate the world around them, we inspire students to take action environmentally, politically, or culturally.

To further support personal development, we created a 'Personal Development Passport.' This passport allows children to earn stamps for developing life skills, improving well-being, engaging with their community, appreciating the world, and inspiring action. Our aim is to provide children with opportunities to develop as adventurous, connected, ethical and unique learners.

Children's achievements are recognized with bronze, silver, and gold badges, raising students' awareness of personal growth and motivating them to strive for excellence. This is also something celebrated in our Friday celebration assemblies, celebrating children's personal growth each week. 

We believe that this supports children develop the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate their daily lives confidently and responsibly, while also influencing their future life choices by instilling a sense of global citizenship and proactive engagement with their communities.
